What is PRP?
PRP is platelet rich plasma, aka liquid gold. PRP is derived from blood and contains a rich content of growth factors and platelets. Platelets promote cell growth and regeneration.
As the term “platelet rich plasma” suggests, platelets are generally about 5x more concentrated in PRP than in regular blood. This high concentration of platelets is useful, because platelets secret growth factors that assist in wound healing and tissue regrowth.

What can I expect with a PRP microneedling facial?
It’s very simple! At the start of the procedure, a numbing cream will be applied to your skin for comfort.
Next, a very small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm and placed in a machine called a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the red blood cells. The separated PRP is withdrawn (leaving behind the red blood cells) and delivered directly into the skin using the micro-needling pen.
Finally, more PRP is applied to the skin to enhance absorption into the tiny micro-needling punctures, resulting in firmer tighter skin. Redness is expected for 24 hours post procedure.
When will I notice results?
Patients can expect results within one week following treatment and will continue to see improvement for up to a year. The skin tightens and glows for a beautiful and very natural result.
